"The wandering scholars were bound by no lasting loyalties, were attached by no sentiment of patriotism to the states they served and were not restricted by any feeling of ancient chivalry. They proposed and carried out schemes of the blackest treachery."-C.P. Fitzgerald.

John Kerry....

....made a speech today to the Council on Foreign Relations that was so over the top, so waxing in fury and so dependent on a forest of straw men, that one can safely say that Kerry is no longer a serious candidate.

One of the central thrusts of Kerry's speech was that we, the United States, ran the risk of inciting a "clash of civilizations" (Kerry's less than manful attempt to rip off Samuel Huntington) that would lead to the Third World War.

The thought that we are already in a Third World War never passed across Kerry's chiseled countenance.

I am tempted to recommend Kerry for todays Idiotarian Award, but that's not my blog.
