Howard Dean in a Nutshell
When one strips away the adoring crowds, the speeches, and the exclamations that "you have the power", one is left with Dean's issues, which are either pale imitations of Bush Administration's overseas actions or a luddite fondness for higher taxation, redistribution of incomes, and nationalization of health care.
It's all rather simple once one gets past the forest of position papers:
Howard Dean is all Beer Hall, no Putsch.

The Reaction of the Activist Left

Oh Happy Day
Sullivan put it best. This day, the 14th of December, 2003, is the Iraqi people's day. The dark and evil man who held them in his thrall for so long is now a prisoner of the United States. The celebrations in the streets of Baghdad and other Iraqi cities began shortly after dawn Eastern time today and have continued into the night.
May God bless the people of Iraq and may he give his Speed to the Officers and Men of the 4th Infantry Division, which has added this day to its illustrious battle honors.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
