Democratic snub won't be forgotten
Was talking to an operative friend of mine who has worked Florida politics for the last 25 years.
The Donks wouldn’t have done this unless they had pretty strong internal polling that told them that Florida’s 27 Electoral Votes were safely in Rudy’s or Fred’s pocket and Hillary couldn’t get them unless she were running against Hitler or Heydrich.
This is huge, and that’s what this means. Crist’s victory in a difficult environment in 2006 went a long way towards securing the state for our side. The Dems have decided to blow it off, which makes it harder for the SheThing to actually win.
This allows someone like Rudy, for instance, to concentrate on picking off PA, NJ, and the Dukakis Five states of the Upper Midwest.
